Artists to Watch - A Group Show

We are proud to present our new show, Artists to Watch, showcasing 16 award-winning artists - all masters of light and atmosphere celebrating nature with individual and unique points of view. Their work is contemporary, classic, and collectable. 

Zufar Bikbov, Neal Hughes, George Van Hook, and Leonard Mizerek are celebrated Plein Air Painters. All have won coveted awards at numerous competitions. Tom Hughes won the $15,000 Grand Prize for his painting "Fog at Back Cove," at the Plein Air Expo in San Francisco. Zufar Bikbov recently received the "Best Use of Light" Award at the Plein Air Festival in Gloucester, Virginia, and 2nd Place, Plein Air Easton. Neal Hughes won two awards at Plein Air Easton including Artists Choice, followed by another Artists Choice Award, Purchase Award and Merit Award at Grand Traverse Competition, Michigan. Leonard Mizerek was recently awarded Best Nocturne in the Plein Air Salon Art Competition.

Realist seascapes and landscapes of New England, as well as whimsical still lifes in the mediums of oil and pastel will be on view. Join us and meet the artists at our opening reception on Friday, September 16, from 4 to 7 pm.
