Summer in New England

Our Annual Summer in New England Show is back for its 20th year. Join us and meet the artists at the opening reception on Friday, July 7, from 4-8 pm. Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served in the gallery garden. Thirty nationally-acclaimed artists celebrated for painting seascapes and landscapes of New England are exhibiting in this popular show. Ocean and shoreline views, marshes, local Madison scenes,  picturesque harbors, sailing yachts, schooners, shore birds, and Lobster Landing are on view. "The paintings capture the unique light and atmosphere of the shoreline and New England's charm in summer, and we look forward to welcoming you and showing you our talented artists," says Susan Powell, owner.

Artist Jeanne Rosier Smith, a member of the American Society of Marine Artists and winner of numerous major awards, will be giving a pastel painting demonstration of a coastal landscape in the gallery garden on Friday, July 7 from 3 - 4 pm. Among the artists participating in the show are: Kathy Anderson, Carol Arnold, Del-Bourree Bach, Dan Brown, Harley Bartlett, Paul Batch, Paul Beebe, Zufar Bikbov, Kelly Birkenruth, Deborah Chabrian, David Dunlop, Sue Foell, Tom Glover, Neal Hughes, Tom Hughes,  Jim Laurino, Susan Jositas, Andrew Lattimore, James Magner, Anne McGrory, Leonard Mizerek, Cora Ogden, Larry Preston, Cindy Procious, Deborah Quinn-Munson, Jeanne Rosier Smith, Katie Swatland, Sandra Wakeen and Laura Westlake.

Award-winning artist Zufar Bikbov will be giving an oil painting demonstration in the gallery garden on Friday, August 4, 3-4 pm. 

Zufar has won numerous plein air painting awards and is a member of the Boston Guild of Artists and Plein Air Painters of America.
